Why it matters that someone thinks I am bad or ugly (any badthings).

Whatever is going within me, even I cannot tell or expressit clearly with words; and then how does someone dare to say that I played mypart wrongly ( if I am a good intention person).

It is a natural tendency that first I start liking ordisliking someone at the very first site.

Then I start building the layer of trust towards him.

Then I appreciate his good comments about me.

And then, I unknowingly throw myself in his hands forJUDGING ME.

This thing is of great help when it is done constructively. Imean to say that if his comments are helping me gain the momentum, or make meunderstand the problem.

Sometimes HIS COMMENTS are gathered around only to irritate meand depress my confidence level.

And I think that I AM SUFFURRING FROM A SERIOUS PROBLEM.

What basically has happened is that I unknowingly have madehim judge my capabilities on the basis of trust and goodness generated in mebecause of our relationship.

But I don’t know that HE COULD BE AN EVIL, OR A PSYCHO, wellversed with the understandings of workings of mind.

Why something starts happening in my belly when I hear newswhich makes me very happy; so much that something in me wants to burst out.

So, what could be the mechanism happening?

Navel is an impression on the belly, also called the bellybutton. Navel is the place where the umbilical cord of a baby is attached tillbirth. In other words, the baby derives his nutrition from mother via umbilicalcord attached to his navel till it is cut at the time of birth. So, there couldbe certain pathways remaining at the area even after birth, which may haveimportance!

Secondly, a nerve organ called celiac plexus (solar plexus)lies immediately below the stomach and is considered a source of energy for thebody.

Most oftenit occurs that when something bad happens to me, I go in a depressed mood.

Depth ofpain or the depression depends upon

It feelslike some part of the internal self is pushing us into a deep sorrowful state,like a man’s leg chained to a big stone and he is trying to swim in the water. Inthis way the deep internal pain tries to pull us in a more depressive state,and a vicious circle develops of pain; in which pain leads to more pain andsorrow increases more.

What couldbe the way out?

Consider ifa black stone is thrown in a well, it soon disappears in the dark. How much wetry to see in the well, we can see only to a limited depth and so is our viewpoint suggesting us about the depth of well being equivalent to thedisappearance of the stone.

Also werelate the darkness of the well with the darkness of the stone as if the stonehas grown bigger of the size of well.

Now, if awhite stone is thrown into the well. It can be seen for even more depth; andour view point suggesting more depth of the well.

Also we seewhiteness of stone outshining the darkness of the well.

We will evenforget that a black stone is there as it will not be seen.

And wheneverwe try to look into the well, our sight goes straight towards the white stone,so is our view point changed towards positivity of whiteness and not thedarkness.

Most common terms when I start thinking of knowing GOD!

When I started thinking of knowing my identity being onearth, I was reminded of a universal power which is the sole reason for drivingthe energies and the reason for existence of all beings in the world.

Knowing IT is considered the only motive of being on earth,or it is said that life is given to a spirit only for the purpose ofunderstanding and then following the path to universal power while living inthis very world.

So, now what could be the path!

A religious person is considered generally, more as afollower of a person or a group whom has attained to that power. He solelyrelies on the beliefs of that person or group. He can visit temple, church,mosque or any religious place. His base starts with the beliefs.

Is it good to believe a thing without doing hard work tofind out what is it? So, can it be applied to the most important job of thelife?

Knowing GOD is considered a job by all the religious scriptures of the world. It is alwaysstressed that we have to be still bodily and mindly to find out the real dramaoccurring around us.

And I believe that it has been the most difficult aspect fora man to win over his body and mind.

But most weak hearted beings make it as a symbol of reliance. As it is a natural phenomenathat the mind is relieved of stress when it finds someone to rely on.

So, what was the motive?

Was it to be a warrior in the eyes of god by traversing his path!

Or being religiousis only for temporary satisfaction.

A spiritual person is more like a self thinker whom meditate on the path which is considered mostappropriate to his thinking. He thinks on the aspects regarding the PATH; nodoubt the religion as well and then his concentration leads to an understandingdeveloped in him towards the topic and he moves.

He works hard to find the one beyond physical.

He is the warrior in the eyes of god, whom is working hard;trying to cross all the boundaries to reach the universal.

This is his only wish. He doesn’t need worldly stuff orneither has he prayed for it.

He meditates.

He is religious but religion never comes in his path to stophim; or direct him toward the quarrels.

He is religious when he is meditating, not when he isconversing over the religion.

I have seen many people try to convince that they have thesecrets that can gear up our mind in a short time. World is full of such stuff.

People being ridden by emotional disasters are easily proneto such things.

Even if they create a change in our mental faculty, how muchis it safe to throw ourselves in the hands of a course, session, books oranything?

How much is it safe to play with the most precious subtlething in the world, when it comes changing its tragic state in a short periodof time.

Most importantly, any wound, of body or mind takes time toheal. It is a universal law.

Second thing come the reinforcers.

Nature is the biggest reinforce. It makes you lively.

I believe that word love is more important than the worddivine. Divine word starts from the eternal power. But love is feeling ofessence of divination in this very world.

But now the question arises that who on this planet can feelit!

Is it possible that the strings of two hearts get connectedwith such love!

No mirror for my mind in this world

In the morning, when I wake up from my bed, first thing I dois to stand before the mirror in my room. And I analyze my looks, my health andmy face. But, I always dreamt of something that can help in analyzing my mind.Anything which can show me the condition of how well it is!

I guess no one could find anything that can tell our mindstatus except the CAT scan and the MRI scans developed by the medical field whichexamine the active parts of the brain while a work is done. But the study inthis aspect is too gross; as still no one can say what the person is thinking.

Then comes the psychiatry; a psychiatrist helps usunderstand the basic principles of mind process which help us understand; whatis the real problem which we can’t see! But most people have the notion that ifthey go to a psychiatrist shows they are a psycho!

Then comes the hypnosis; done by many people includingpsychiatrists. In this process, the person helps us become SILENT CONSCIOUSLYso that he may see the deep internal happenings clearly with OUR HELP. Yes, wehelp them. (Will be dealt separately)

Now, the latest are the audio CDs developed to autohypnotize a person.

But, it is said that a spiritual person can analyze hismind.

Consider it, when I close my mind, I can see what retinal(visual) firing is trying to show to me. What is happening in my mind andheart, when I talk to a person; a good one and a bad one!

So, if I have such ability, can I analyze my mind?

Secondly, I could conclude that perhaps, we can only feelour mind. But how!

A Talk with a Strange Tourist

In the morning on the way while jogging I got a chance tosee a person lying down by the roadside in the park. I have seen such men manytimes but today my heart asked me to stop and inquire about him; same is I amgoing to describe.

Me: – Oh man, why are you lying down by the roadside?

Tourist: - Don’t you see? I am resting.

Me: - Please tell me, you don’t have a home to rest?

Tourist: - I am a tourist.

Me: - So, your money must have been finished. That’s why youare on the road?

Tourist: - I never had money.

Me: - So, you need some? As you neither have food, norshelter to live.

Tourist: - Idiot! I don’t need anything.

Me: - Don’t you feel stressed as you got nothing?

Tourist: - Why should I? I have nothing to lose.

Me: - So, as you are a tourist, where will you be heading?

Tourist: - Where life takes me.

After this I have nothing to ask from him, and I moved to myway. But in an hour I got a chance to go through the same way. I saw that thesame man was resting with so much peace that even I haven’t got on my bed. Heonly had with him a pack with few clothes, and a water bottle.

Firstly, these remind me of the character Eli from the filmThe Book of Eli, whom was on a mission directed by his faith, with no fear,having no need for anything, not trying to mess with a person unless needed.These are a few qualities I found in this person also.

Secondly, from the discourses of the great Osho, He saysonly those persons take pain that have got insufficient of the worldly things.A man whom has got enough or whom has nothing, both never take tension for theworldly stuff.

Rays of the sun

I start by saying, there is time when my mind is so engagedthat I lose my present.

At times our mind becomes very busy in reviewing aparticular subject that it loses the control over the present state. Consciousmind has a role of going over a subject again and again till it is clearly andlogically understood.

So, if we become so desperate about a particular subject, wecreate another world away from the present.

Similarly, in a stressed condition, mind is full ofthoughts.

And in depressed state, again we lose our ability to feelthe present.

But, OUR SENSES AREAFFILIATED WITH THE PRESENT.

So, many times it happens to me that I have failed to enjoythe essence of nature just because I was busy with most irrelevant stuffbecause of the ridiculous ways of conscious minds ability to think.

So, I have tested my present sensitivity by certain wayslike; consider it.

How many times have you have or haven’t felt the warmth ofthe rays coming from the sun?

How many times have you felt time surpassing sensation ofwater?

Most importantly, why we feel the nature only when we areaway from home in a tourist place? Is it because we forget everything of ourday today life there!

Silence cleanses mind

Let’s consider different states of mind when a persondoesn’t feel normal; for example stress and depression. Could be more;

In stress, my head gets overloaded with a lots of thoughts,and the repetition process goes on again and again because of the distorteddefense mechanisms of the mind; refer to Non silent consciousness.

In case of depression, thought the thought is single but thedepth of pain or the wound created by the thought makes my mind more vulnerableto the weakness to gather inside.

So, how can silence help here?

· Silence can help in dissipating the heavinesscreated with in self!

· Silence cleans the conscious or the active partof the mind!

· Silence causes the development of understandingof the problem!

· Silence provides rest to the nerves of thebrain!

What is the intent of the heart?

I start by saying a phrase; we get in our life the thing which we actually want.

In my life, I have been troubled by this question that whypeople run for happiness, why they want to meditate. Is this that they actuallywant? What is the need? What is the intent of the heart? What is their realinternal subconscious hunger?

If they really want; how many have attainedto that state? Perhaps, aren’t we missing some very deep basic understanding;of how this thing works?

As, we have discussed in previous post non silent consciousness, we have conscious andsubconscious mind divided into parts broadly by psychology.

Subconscious or the internal deep state isconsidered pure, without an error, behaves in the most effective and helpfulway, gives us the most accurate, most important and precise answer to ourcontemporary needs and environment; in which we live. Also; it warns usabout the most basic need. Remember, being feared of an interview, or anysort of happening! These are the energies directed from deep inside as ourdefense mechanisms.

Now, what happens when a need is being expressed by oursubconscious? Do we really able to understand it correctly! It will be likeequivalent to understanding the basic reason of a dream, which I think is noteasily possible.

IT’S A VIEW OF MINE, THINK IF IT APPLIES

Subconscious radiates the NEED. Saint say that the love and hunger of self realization is even deeper from the soul. In its waycomes the conscious mind.

We work with a propermindset; it’s like I need certain clothes for going to a certain occasion,or certain tools for certain work. So, our mind (conscious) will understand itin one way and work it in one way. Example, a child and an adultwill understand a thing in different ways and work in different ways. And sowill be a religious and a nonreligious person, or a dumb and a smart person.

This mindsetof the conscious part affects the understanding of the basic need!

So, if a person is in deep sorrow; and his move of long prayingcan be considered of him being spiritual! Is this the intent of his heart?

When things hurt us!

Consider aperson’s body full of health, good immune mechanisms, can cope with even asevere disease; if he gets infected. A simple dose of drug is sufficient ofcuring the disease, in a healthy person.

Now, view anHIV infected person; with weak immunity (ability of body to fight diseases). Hecan easily become affected by a malady. So weak that, even a mild cough isenough to ruin the body sometimes. Only best drugs have a chance to treat it.Any illness can be taken into account.

Can this rule be applied tothe mind?

What happensin situations when a person’s mind becomes weak?

Becomingangry on the loved ones!

Or, fearedat most simple condition; which would have been nothing in other situations!

In religious references, it comes, clean your heart so that god enters in it.

What is to be cleaned? What is the CUP or HEART referred to?

Is there any difference between them?

Why is it necessary to be cleaned?

Consider an example; before entering a new house for livingin it, it is first cleaned and then maintained!

There are people whom are extroverts, those who try to partya lot, live the life to the fullest. I have met a few.

- Some got their inspiration from the ease intheir internal. They were actually so silent when alone. They had the qualitiesof calmness, open minded, loving nature, free to help all the time, truesmiling face.

- Some say they run from their internal. Theirinternal starts asking questions about the past when silence prevailsexternally. So, extrovert nature becomes a necessity; trying to become busy soas to forget the past. They were helpful for reasons, smiled for others, lovedfor being loved, calm! What calm?

So, according to you which type of person can think ofsilence as sadness?!

Healing Silence

While practicing silence after a long term stressedsituation; one may find that certainareas of brain are more reactive to even mild sound. These areas can be felt asmore painful and more irritated.

A part of brain can be considered as a collection ofmillions of neuronal relays (like millions of collections of wires interlinked)for sending messages with the help of chemical neurotransmitters.

These pathways when got overloaded with continuous work inadverse situations, they may feel like a vibrating tuning fork which has alsogone hot after heating.

When silence is practiced continuously, these vibrations andheat is dispersed to the environment withtime. And relaxation prevails, peace enters the mind.

Imagineit like an ice kept on table untouched, gains its normal liquid water stateleaving the coldness from within it; as the temperature gets normal.

Similarlystressed neurons leave the habit of continuous irritation in the silence.

Here, we can conclude a new thing.

Only the state of mind is changed, only theridiculous way of neurons firing (working) is changed.

So, we can work on keeping a healthy state of mind! Thinkabout it.

Gate of concious mind

In view ofthe discussions done by me with certain people, most of them said that it isvery difficult for them to be silent. Whenever, they try to be in a silentplace, their internal conscious starts asking them about the past deeds; if itis not satisfied. So, there can be two ways to pass the doubtful consciousmind.

- EitherI give an answer to the problem, so that the REVIEW part to that topic getsstopped.

- Or,wait till it gets the answer by the experiences with time. (But mind you, it isnever possible to pass the conscious mind without answering all the problemscorrectly, if it has? Except drugs)

This couldmean that I should have lived a moral life with no place for lies, ditch, orany bad deeds; so that minimum locks were there on the gate of consciousness!

Non silent consciousness

Psychological field divides mind intotwo broad parts. Conscious and Subconscious mind.

Conscious mind is the area which wedeal with when we are active. When I close my eyes, I can see and hear a lot ofstuff going on in my head. Is it good to have it continue? It may seem like this habit can keep mindbusy in my life when I am just wandering. Now what if this habit gets out of mycontrol?

Such uncontrolled mind can drive meinto weird situations.Do you know that our mind has the ability to driveourselves into psychotic situations?

Consider yourself, being ever in a hypertensivesituation without knowing yourself; Or, in depression, in sadness, weakness ofbody. Why? Because the more my mind is weak, uncontrolled, the more it will letdifficult situations pass by unnoticed. Still it is looking good; Right?

Now, when they get severe, minds behaviorwill be like the most fearful, sensitive, irritable way and so will be theperson himself.

Mind Matters

Right from our birth, life starts unfolding and so is our mind entering the everyday exercises.This results in changes in the modes, the mind is able to work. In other words mind starts to evolve. Its great to know that mind trying to understand new faculties.

But when mind gets pressurized, pained or affected by the series of events, what happens; it starts adapting.

Now, adapting could be, that i can only handle this much pressure, or this thing is beyond my ability, this way is difficult, lets leave concerns about it and move with the simple one. So adjustment comes into play.

No doubt, life can be made a bit easy with the adjustments in our life.

Life has been made easy, but what is the state of the mind. Is it happy? Think about it.

No one ever try to touch this style of living which has been traversed by great people in the past times. Can a Silent Living be helpful in such matters? Think about it.

Understanding Silence

Word silence has created a great revolution in the fields of religion, meditation, books and even in science. Followers have moved towards the ideas and definitions created by them, but thinkers have tried to understand the meaning of words. But some people have tried to go beyond the words.

Let us try to go in depth of the subject, and beyond the words with words if we can.

In view of the various definitions of silence, it is basically said as absence of sound. So it can be meant as when no vibrations are producing an effect on our ear membranes. Or, no worldly sound is entering our mind. This means that a person locks himself in a soundproof room, he can be in silence. Is that so? According to you has he attained silence? now think yourself being unbiased by sayings , quotes , and religions , people whom goes to forests, mountains in search of god have attained silence of mind, nothing personal.

Now, moving ahead, when no sound is heard, what happens? .....we are in a no sound receiving position, what is happening? I think all will agree that ringing of sound in our ears still persists. It goes on and on? What is it? It could be the after effect of the noises and sounds we hear prior to go in a silent area (where no sound exists). There is another aspect of it, only certain sounds go on repeating in our ears. So, is it the aftermath. Or, is it that certain sounds to which we were more moved by, or affected with, or liked the most. So, here I think a strong willed person has some chances to put a stop on them.

Moving a bit further, listen to, how your mind is acting to the worldly proceedings happened before external silent stream. You may see your mind constantly reviewing thoughts like a processor does in a computer. Now ask yourself, are you still in silence. This according to the experts of meditation is most critical point to be dealt with. But, again strong willed people have a chance. Or, a follower with a weak heart thinking of some power that can bring silence to him. Think it, please. And nothing personal.

Let us move a bit further, if it is possible. Now, what if thoughts stop, there could be two ways, may be many beyond my understanding. One is either a person is in concentration or just lying without thoughts as he is in comma. We will deal with it separately. But, at this point few readers may agree to this state of mind being in silence. But still think about it. It is the field of real meditation.

So, we have concluded to think, silence could be beyond sound freeing to thought freeing state.

But still think about it, it will bring up your internal understanding.
